By accessing or using Message Laundry (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Message Laundry is a web-based AI communication assistant that:

• Analyzes messages
• Provides communication insights
• Suggests responses and rewrites
• Generates shareable message breakdowns

Message Laundry provides general communication guidance only. It is not:

• Legal advice
• Therapy or mental health counseling
• Professional advice of any kind

You are solely responsible for how you use the Service.

The Service uses artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

• Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete
• Results are interpretations, not facts
• You must use your own judgment before acting

Message content you submit is transmitted to our AI processing platform (Base44) to generate your results. Message Laundry's own servers do not receive or store your message content.

We use information to:

• Operate the Service
• Generate AI responses via our AI platform
• Understand how the Service is used (aggregate, non-identifying analytics)
• Communicate with users who contact us
• Meet legal obligations

The core functionality of the Service — analyzing messages and generating suggested responses — is powered by Base44, an external AI platform. When you submit a message:

• Your message is transmitted to Base44's servers for processing
• Base44 may process your content according to their own privacy policy
• Message Laundry does not control how Base44 stores, uses, or retains submitted content
• Do not submit financial, medical, legal, or other highly sensitive personal information

To operate the Service, content you submit is transmitted to:

• Base44 (our AI processing platform) to generate responses
• Hosting infrastructure providers to serve the website
• Legal authorities when required by law

We do not sell personal information.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data. However, no system is completely secure. Use is at your own risk.

Message Laundry's own servers do not store message content. Server logs (IP address, request metadata) are retained for a limited period to maintain security and service performance. Any retention of submitted messages is governed by Base44's privacy policy. We retain other data only as long as necessary to meet legal obligations.

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request corrections
• Withdraw consent
• Request deletion

You retain ownership of content you submit. By using the Service, you grant our AI processing platform (Base44) a limited right to process your content solely for the purpose of generating a response. Message Laundry does not use your submitted content for any other purpose.

No account, registration, or login is required to use the Service. We do not collect or store user credentials, passwords, or profile information. Access may be restricted at our discretion as described in Section 14.

Message Laundry is completely free to use. There are no paid plans, subscriptions, or purchases required to access any feature of the Service.

We reserve the right to:

• Modify usage limits
• Require signup
• Restrict access

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Harass or harm others
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer the system

All branding, software, and content are owned by Message Laundry. You may not copy or distribute without permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Message Laundry is not liable for:

• Decisions made using AI outputs
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data or relationships

Use is at your own risk.

The Service is provided “as is”. We make no guarantees about:

• Accuracy
• Reliability
• Availability

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• Terms are violated
• Use creates risk

We may use cookies to:

• Maintain sessions
• Improve performance
• Analyze usage

You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

The Service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means you accept changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and Canada.
